These terms explain how Verified Origin may be used, including licence access, subscriptions, trials, acceptable use, plugin updates and limitations of content analysis.

These Terms of Use apply to the Verified Origin website, WordPress plugin, licence services, checkout pages, documentation and related plugin functionality.
Verified Origin is supplied for business, professional, agency, publisher, freelancer, SEO and website-owner use. It is offered on a business-to-business basis and is not intended for personal, household or consumer use.
By using Verified Origin, purchasing a plan, starting a trial or installing the plugin, you agree to these terms.
About Verified Origin
Verified Origin is a premium WordPress plugin designed to help users review website content before publishing.
The plugin may provide trust scoring, originality checks, AI-assisted writing indicators, business evidence review, claim review guidance, Trust History, public trust reports, private diagnostics, scan evidence and content improvement guidance.
Verified Origin is designed to support human review. It does not replace professional judgement, editorial review, legal advice, SEO advice or manual content checks.
Licence and permitted use
Access to Verified Origin is provided through a valid licence or subscription plan.
Licence access
Your licence allows you to use Verified Origin according to the plan you selected, including any scan limits, site limits, support level or feature access shown at checkout.
Account responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your account, licence key and website access secure. You must not share, resell or misuse licence keys.
Plan limits
Each plan may include usage limits, scan allowances, site limits or access restrictions. These limits may change if your subscription changes, expires or is cancelled.
Misuse
We may suspend or restrict access if a licence is abused, shared publicly, used fraudulently or used in a way that places unreasonable load on the service.
Free trials, billing and subscriptions
Verified Origin plans may include a 14-day free trial before a paid monthly subscription begins.
If you start a trial, you are responsible for cancelling before the trial ends if you do not want the subscription to continue.
After the trial period, the selected plan may continue as a paid monthly subscription unless cancelled.
Checkout, billing, renewals and subscription management may be handled through third-party checkout and payment providers.
Prices, plan features and scan allowances are shown on the pricing and checkout pages. We may update pricing or plan features from time to time, but changes will not normally affect an active billing period already paid for.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are explained in the Refund Policy.
You can cancel your subscription to prevent future renewals. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund payments already made.
Because Verified Origin is supplied on a B2B basis and includes a free trial before payment, paid subscription fees are generally non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Refunds are not provided for change of mind, unused scan allowance, failure to cancel before renewal, non-use after purchase, incorrect plan selection or a change in business needs.
This does not exclude any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. If a confirmed technical issue prevents paid plugin features from functioning as intended and cannot be resolved after reasonable support, an appropriate remedy may be considered where required by law or at our discretion.

Acceptable use
You must use Verified Origin responsibly and lawfully.
Allowed use
You may use Verified Origin to review your own WordPress content, client content you are authorised to manage, or content you have permission to scan.
Prohibited use
You must not use Verified Origin for unlawful activity, security abuse, automated scraping, licence sharing, reverse engineering or attempts to overload or disrupt the service.
Content responsibility
You remain responsible for the content you scan, publish, edit or approve. Verified Origin provides review signals and guidance only.
Sensitive data
You should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal data, confidential material or third-party private information unless you have the right to process and review that content.
AI, originality and trust analysis limitations
Verified Origin provides indicators and review guidance, not absolute proof.
AI-assisted writing detection, originality signals, copied-content indicators, business evidence review, claim review guidance and trust scoring should not be treated as perfect, guaranteed or legally conclusive.
Scan results may be affected by wording style, source material, formatting, available evidence, technical signals and the limits of automated analysis.
You should use Verified Origin as part of a wider human review process before making final publishing, editorial, SEO, compliance or business decisions.
We do not guarantee that the plugin will identify every AI-written, copied, low-quality, misleading, unsupported or problematic section of content.
Plugin updates and availability
Verified Origin may be updated over time to improve features, reliability, security and compatibility.
Updates
We may release plugin updates, bug fixes, feature changes and compatibility improvements. Some features may require an active licence or subscription.
Compatibility
We aim to support standard WordPress environments, but compatibility can be affected by themes, plugins, hosting settings, security rules and WordPress configuration.
Service availability
We aim to keep Verified Origin available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, continuous scan availability or error-free operation.
Feature changes
We may add, remove, rename or adjust features as the plugin develops, including scan logic, Trust History, business evidence review, claim review guidance, diagnostics, reporting and plan-based limits.
Support
Support is provided according to the plan selected and the nature of the issue.
Support may include help with plugin access, licence activation, billing questions, setup issues, public trust reports and reasonable troubleshooting.
Support does not include custom development, theme rebuilds, unrelated WordPress fixes, SEO consultancy, legal advice, editorial rewriting or manual content auditing unless specifically agreed separately.

Intellectual property
Verified Origin remains the property of its owner and licensors.
The plugin, website, branding, design, documentation, scan logic, Trust History, reports, interface elements and related materials are protected by intellectual property rights.
You must not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, modify or create competing products from Verified Origin except where expressly permitted by law or agreed in writing.
You retain responsibility for and ownership of your own website content, subject to any rights held by third parties.
Privacy and submitted content
Use of Verified Origin may involve processing website content and account information.
How we collect, process and retain personal information, submitted content, plugin usage data, licence data, Trust History, analytics and cookies is explained in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit content for scanning, especially where that content includes personal data, confidential information or third-party material.
Limitation of liability
Verified Origin is provided as a content review and quality-control tool.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of rankings, loss of business, loss of data, reputational damage or decisions made based only on scan results.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
You should keep appropriate backups of your website and content before installing plugins, making website changes or publishing important updates.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use as Verified Origin develops.
Any updated version will be published on this page with the latest update date shown near the top.
Continued use of the website, plugin or services after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
